FIRMWARE ENGINEER

RESPONSABILITIES:
– Design, develop, improve and maintain embedded software on both existing and next-generation medical devices.
– Collaborate with hardware team to deliver the best performing products.
– Assist in lab PCB bring-up and low-level board testing/debugging.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
– 1+ years of professional experience in C/C++ programming in embedded systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent area of focus.

HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

RESPONSABILITIES:
– Subsystem design, analysis, schematic capture, circuit board layout, prototyping, bring-up and debugging, hardware bug
tracking, functional verification and signal characterization, test and support through production.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering.
– 1+ years of professional experience in fast-paced commercial based projects; in any one or more of the following
areas – medical devices, CPU/FPGA/ASIC circuit boards, consumer electronics, wireless devices, and/or low power platforms.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent area of focus.
– 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed-signal circuit boards from concept
through production using operational amplifiers, filters, and transistors, analog to digital and digital to analog
converters, power supply components, I2S, I2C, SPI, USB, WiFi, BLE and processors.
– 3+ years of experience with testing/troubleshooting/qualifications techniques, signal integrity, layout and grounding
principles.
– 3+ years of experience with DFx(EMC, EMI, reliability, manufacturability, test, etc.)
– Strong emphasis on full lifecycle development of new hardware systems
– Strong understanding of computers, programming languages, scripting tools and automation (C/C++, Python, Matlab,
assembly language, etc).

RF DESIGN ENGINEER

RESPONSABILITIES:
– RF Hardware design, schematic development, circuit board layout, prototyping and hardware validation.
– RF Hardware test requirement definition, design and implement in test system.
– Work with RF module/components vendors, suppliers and cross-functional staff to optimize RF performance.
– Broad expertise with BT, BLE or WiFi
– Contributing to system engineering: architecture issues relating to communications, functionality trade-offs,
grounding and EMC strategy, user interface.
– Develop module-level requirements to meet the medical device program requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
– Demonstrable technical depth and breadth in RF system analysis and design for high volume product development.
– 1+ years of professional experience in RF circuit design; in one or more of the following areas – WiFi/BT, sub-GHz
– Minimum of one lifecycle in RF board development for high-volume manufacturing and required test methods.
– Knowledge and experience in designing for regulatory compliance (FCC, CE) and product debug (EMC/EMI, ESD,
transients, etc)

– 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing RF circuit boards from concept through production.
